Be Enthusiastic

Be Enthusiastic
Introduction: When was the last time you were enthusiastic, energized, or excited about something? When was the last time you were enthusiastic about God’s Word, prayer, coming to church, or leading someone to Jesus Christ? Today, I will be talking about the spiritual side of enthusiasm, sometimes known as zeal for God. Two Types of People: • Those who let their environment dictate their enthusiasm. • Those who let their enthusiasm dictate their environment. Etymology of the word enthusiasm (Gk): divine inspiration, possessed by God, in God. Enthusiasm is not a product of your environment; Enthusiasm is a posture of your heart. At what point in your life were you the most enthusiastic for God? 2. How would you rate your enthusiasm for God at this present moment? Enthusiastic or Apathetic?
