Start Your Journey

Greeter/Lobby Host

Greet and welcome guests, connect them with other people at New Life Church, and assist them with first-time guest registration. Serve one Sunday per month.

Tech Team/Production

Manage the slides for the worship songs and sermon notes. Help with Youtube livestream and lighting. We will train! Serve one Sunday per month with worship rehearsal the Thursday evening prior.

Coffee (Hospitality)

Make coffee, replenish coffee and supplies, and keep coffee area clean throughout the morning. Serve from 9:00 – 11:30am one Sunday per month. Help with hospitality – set-up/tear-down, decorating, etc. is also needed throughout the year.

Auditorium Host

Help guests find a seat, count attendees, and assist with offering collection. Serve one Sunday per month.

Student Ministry (grades 6-12)

Lead junior high and high school students toward Jesus with prayer, small group discussion, worship, games, and fellowship with one another. Serve from 6:30 – 8:30pm on Wednesdays.

Kids Ministry (6 weeks – grade 5)

Care and love on kids either in the nursery, preschool, or elementary. Help with check-in/dismissal, lead kids in worship, assist with crafts and Bible lessons – whatever your gifting is! Serve 1 – 2 Sundays per month.

Sound/Audio

Manage the sound board during our worship service. We will train! Serve one Sunday per month with worship rehearsal the Thursday evening prior.

Connection Center

Communicate with people clearly, give directions, and be knowledgeable about NLC events. Serve one Sunday per month.

Worship

Facilitate worship with a team of dedicated musicians/vocalists. Highest needs are drummer and keyboardist. Serve one Sunday per month with worship rehearsal the Thursday evening prior.

Prayer Team

Be available to pray with others during or after service. Serve 1 – 2 Sundays per month.

Life Safety Team

Keep the church secure and manage safety protocols during service. A person with medical training to be on hand in case of emergency is also needed. Serve 1 – 2 Sundays per month.

Media

Use giftings in social media, videography, or photography to capture and document special moments and events. Serve one Sunday per month or as needed.

Local Outreach

Kendall County Community Food Pantry

We support the KCCFP through our missions fund, and we volunteer regularly on Mondays from 9am – 2pm and Thursdays from 1 – 6pm. Other times are available if needed.

Hesed House in Aurora

We serve meals to the homeless at Hesed House on a bi-monthly basis on the third Monday evening from 6 – 9pm. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
